Sandia Retrains for Recruitment Wednesday, August 31, 2005 Sandia Retrains for RecruitmentAlbuquerque, N.M.-based Sandia National Laboratories realized that it was having trouble recruiting enough computer scientists. To solve the problem, the U.S. Department of Energy lab began relocating certain employees to a retraining organization for training in IT. By the end of the relocation program, Sandia had developed 52 IT professionals.
